Nathan Xander : “Over you, over me”

Nathan Xander is a troubadour in the Texas sense, when he’s in Texas. Or in the California sense when he’s there. Or the Chicago sense, oh, OK. You get it. The man writes like he travels: well and often. Nathan’s new collection of songs, Blue House (17th July, Trailer Fire Records), was recorded in a big blue barn in Upstate New York and represents the work of a writer in the prime of his craft.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
