Justin Vernon blasts Hillary Clinton in Twitter wrangle

This is a really interesting thread if you can follow it through. Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon has got involved in a Twitter spat after attacking Hillary Clinton’s recent comments about Bernie Sanders. It comes after leaked excerpts of her new book suggest that she “harbors a fair amount of animosity toward Sanders following the brutal 2016 election” as Stereogum put it, writing: “[Sanders] didn’t get into the race to make sure a Democrat won the White House, he got in to disrupt the Democratic Party.” Which does seem a bit nonsensical given that many commentators agree he had a much better chance than the flawed Clinton candidacy.
