Exclusive AUK Mini-Gig: Madison Cunningham

Here at AUK, we are posting regular ‘mini-gigs’ – a chance for you to see live performances from great artists while being socially distant from them.  These little connections keep us going, folks.  For today’s instalment, we have a home-recording of Madison Cunningham singing ‘Last Boat to Freedom’: “…from my living room to yours.”  Cunningham’s debut album, ‘Who Are You Now’, was nominated for the ‘Best Americana Album’ Grammy this year.

After picking up a guitar, aged seven, she has never looked back.  Her supporters include Andrew Bird and The Milk Carton Kids and she’s collaborated with the likes of Chris Thile of Punch Brothers.  Cunningham is definitely one to watch.  There’s a delicate beauty to this song and performance.  Sit back and enjoy from the comfort of home.
