First names for Americanafest 2021 announced

The first names of performers who’ll be playing AmericanaFest 2021 have been revealed, which takes place in Nashville from September 22nd to 25th and includes over 200 artists scheduled to showcase at venues around Music City including Kelsey Waldon, Allison Russell, and the superb Joshua Ray Walker.

Other names announced include singer-songwriters Kathleen Edwards, Arlo McKinley, William Prince, and Brandy Clark; Americana legends Rodney Crowell, Jim Lauderdale, and the McCrary Sisters; and more alternative acts such as Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, Early James, and the Pine Hill Haints, among others. There will also be sets by actor-singer Kiefer Sutherland, young blues artist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, rising singer-songwriter Brittney Spencer, and Memphis soul band Southern Avenue.

AmericanaFest will be a physically held festival in 2021 following on from its virtual presence last year — if you’re feeling flush, both festival and conference passes are currently on sale although good luck on them letting you into the country the way things are going here.
