Furlined “Kill Devil Hills” – Listen

Furlined are a Bristol-based band formed in 2012 by singer-songwriter Neil Crossley and cellist Tegan Everett.  ‘Kill Devil Hills’ is the title track of their upcoming new album which should be released this Summer.  ‘Kill Devil Hills’ features the fiddle playing of Georgina Leach, and Neil Crossley has explained how she came to be featured: “I saw Georgina playing at a club in Bristol with Ethan Johns and the Black Eyed Dogs just before the first lockdown last March, sent her the track and asked if she’d be up for playing on it. Really like what she did with it – she nailed it on the second take and it really soars.”  It sure does.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
