Long Ryders say “Run Dusty Run” – European dates announced

Seminal Americana band, the Buffalo Springfield cum Byrds of the Eighties, and very much The Long Ryders of the 21st Century, have announced their imminent European tour – which includes a good handful of UK dates.

With the excellent new album ‘Psychedelic Country Soul‘ out this year – and  don’t forget that it stormed to Number Onem on the UK Alternative/Americana album and also Number One best seller in Americana for Amazon in the UK and several other continental countries and with more gigs supporting it than they’ve done since, well, it’s been a long time – The Long Ryders are very much Back.  And Better Than Ever.  Rock and Roll Hall of Fame here they come.

But in the meantine, those tour dates are:

24 Oct – Brudenell Social Club – Leeds, UK
27 Oct – Oran Mor – Glasgow, UK
28 Oct – La Belle Angele – Edinburgh, UK
29 Oct – Riverside – Newcastle, UK
30 Oct – Cambridge Junction – Cambridge, UK
31 Oct – The Hassocks – Hassocks, UK
01 Nov – Gibus – Paris (France)
02 Nov – TakeRoot Festival – Groningen (Netherlands)
03 Nov – Muziekclub De Zwerver – Leffinge (Belgium)
05 Nov – Edificio Constitución 1812 – Cádiz (Spain)
06 Nov – Auditorio Universidad – Huelva (Spain)
07 Nov – Loco Club – Valencia (Spain)
08 Nov – El Sol – Madrid (Spain)
09 Nov – Helldorado – Vitoria (Spain)

And to whet the appetite further here’s  the boys (and we use that term strictly under legal duress) in action.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
