Los Lobos win best americana album at 2022 Grammys

The Grammys were held last night and without anyone getting hit in the face, it was left to the awards themselves to do the heavy lifting. Los Lobos’ lovely ‘Native Sons’ album which we raved about last year (and which also made our end of year lists) took the gong for the best americana album, beating off competition from Jackson Browne and our very own Yola among others, while Jon Batiste took the awards for both best American Roots Song and best American Roots performance for ‘Cry’. Here are all the winners:
