Modern Studies to support King Creosote on upcoming tour

Modern Studies the Glasgow-via-Yorkshire chamber pop band fresh from the positive Americana UK review of their debut record are to support King Creosote (whose recent record can also be heartily recommended) on his upcoming tour. Catch them and their eccentric instrumentation (wine glass orchestra, Victorian pedal harmonium) at one of the dates below.

20th January – Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool
21st January  – Town Hall, Birmingham
22nd January – The Barbican, London
23rd January – Colston Hall, Bristol
24th January – Tramshed, Cardiff
25th January – Sage, Gateshead

They’re also appearing as part of the also heartily recommended Celtic Connections festival on 26th January at The Glad Cafe, Glasgow

Plus they’ve got a rather good video featuring flannel pyjamas and some biscuit porn.
