Serious Sam Barrett and The Burner Band announce UK dates

Beginning this week with something to look forward to, Serious Sam Barrett has announced he’s heading out on the road this autumn in the company of fellow Yorkshiremen, The Burner Band. Barrett’s been making a name for himself both in the UK and the US over the past few years with his mix of 12-string country-blues and folk, not least for his work alongside James The Fang from Alabama’s Pine Hill Haints. Barrett’s new album ‘The Seeds Of Love’ is out here on 17th September.

Leeds native Lewis Burner has made two solo albums of often politically-inspired country, bluegrass and rockabilly, before deciding to share the love with the rest of the band. Their debut ‘Signs And Wonders’ lands on 3rd September.

They play a special joint album launch at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds before heading off around the country. Here are the full list of dates:

Fri 17 Sept – Brudenell Social Club, Leeds (album launch gig)
Sat 18 Sept – The Swan, Addingham
Fri 24 Sept – Paradise Tap N Taco, Harrogate
