“Sonic Pioneers” 3hattrio announce UK summer dates

Utah “desert music” band 3hattrio count Tom Russell, Steve Martin and Martha Scanlan as fans, the former of which has described them as “sonic pioneers”, and they’ve just announced some UK dates for August and September, where they will be bringing over copies of their latest record – a live recording made last month on their home patch which features fresh arrangements of selected tracks from the last four studio albums as well as new material.

The band has built a faithful following on this side of the Atlantic following tours and festival appearances in the UK and Europe, and at the end of 2018, they featured in the top five Best Bands of The Year in our end of year poll.

3hattrio will also be debuting a brand new piece shortly at a concert featuring Sting and the Utah Symphony Orchestra. They were commissioned to write the piece to commemorate the centenary of the Zion National Park, where they are based, and a film of them performing it will be screened during the big upcoming event in Salt Lake City.
