Sounds from beyond the Shed – Week 90

Damn the fragility of the body. The spirit is certainly willing but …f**k, the body isn’t at the moment. After 4 weeks of nursing a back (and boring you dear reader with my moaning), last weekend brought a sense of job done and let’s get back to normal. Unfortunately my own stupidity thought that this normal was a 5km walk followed by some energetic furniture moving. What a twat. Didn’t even finish the week in school as the vertebrae closed ranks and demanded an inflation-busting 100% increase in time spent lying down.

I am now walking… well… shuffling about again thanks to the magic hands of Tatiana (no sniggering at the back) and have been able to sit long enough to pen this. Last week of term coming up and its a busy one. Hope I make it as the hols are looking busy too!

This week some crackers have appeared on the horizon. Regular readers will know of my soft spot for Cory Hanson, and this looks like some more wonderful stuff from him. And then I suggest some Bill Fox who is really growing on me – and then finally a splash of The Meltdown if you want to go soulfully off-piste for a while. As ever take what you want or need.
