Sturgill wins best album at this year’s Americana Honors and Awards ceremony

After taking a break last year because of COVID-19, the Americana Honors & Awards returned earlier this week to the Ryman Auditorium for an in-person ceremony which included nominations for Jason Isbell, Amythyst Kiah, Allison Russell, Valerie June and Brandi Carlile who all performed at the event, plus Steve Earle, Margo Price, Sarah Jarosz, country supergroup The Highwomen and dear Charley Crockett who we love and (spoiler alert) fully deserves his win.
