Track Premiere: My Crooked Teeth “Something Decent”

My Crooked Teeth is the stage name of Oxford singer-songwriter Jack Olchawski.  His new single ‘Something Decent‘ is out this Friday, and acts as a companion piece to his last single ‘Something  Real‘.    From starting out on Oxford’s open mic circuit in 2014 My Crooked Teeth has  carried his folk-Americana as far as the Truck Festival in the UK and Tartu Indiefest in Estonia.

Speaking of the new single My Crooked Teeth noted that “the song is inspired by one of my songwriting heroes John K Samson and the way that he uses the lyrical theme of conceptualising life as an inanimate object. It’s a plea, a call to action and an affirmation of self belief.

Take a listen – we reckon you’ll like it.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
