Triptides “So Many Days” – where does the time go, man?

Do you wish you would have gone to the show?  Do you realise that there’s nowhere to go?” sings Glenn Brigman as ‘So Many Days‘ makes its jangling opening.  But it’s ok, the LA psychedelic influenced trio haven’t gone all lockdown on us – although there’s a hazy lost time feeling to the song ‘So Many Days‘ is more of a love letter to harmonizing Laurel Canyon love songs wrapped up in a Byrdsesque tie-die blanket of proto-country-rock.  Put another way it’s another great new song from a band that has absorbed all the right influences but still sounds like themselves.  Sit back, relax and drift away with Triptides.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
