Tyler Ramsey announces UK dates for autumn

Tyler Ramsey, the former Band of Horses co-writer and lead guitarist, has today announced his return to the UK, this time with full band, following his sold-out solo show at St Pancras Old Church in May of this year which we reviewed in rather glowing terms. As well as a headline show at London’s Bush Hall on 30th October, Tyler and his band will also play Glasgow and Manchester, before heading into Europe for a 13- date run.
The tour will see Ramsey play tracks from his solo album ‘For The Morning’, released in May this year on Fantasy Records/ Virgin EMI which we were also quite keen on. Inspired by the lush, green landscape of his home in the mountains outside of Asheville, North Carolina, Ramsey threads rock, country and folk into his own rich branch of americana.

“This album came about in the midst of a lot of change,” explains Ramsey. “The birth of my daughter, a move to the country, and the steady realization that I needed to switch the road I was on in my life as a musician and songwriter. I tried to express and balance images of life as a constantly travelling and touring musician with the more connected life I live at home and the time I spend hiking in the mountains where I live.”

Here are the dates:

8th October 2019 –  Oran Mor, GLASGOW
29th October 2019 –  Soup Kitchen, MANCHESTER
30th October 2019 –  Bush Hall, LONDON
