Video: Diana DeMuth “Into My Arms”

Here is the fourth single from Diana DeMuth, taken from upcoming album ‘Misadventure’.  Most notable for a wonderful, uplifting chorus, ‘Into My Arms’ features Wesley Shultz of The Lumineers, with whom DeMuth should have been touring this year.  This song, like the rest of the album, was produced by Simone Felice and David Baron and the result is a striking, immediately-likeable sound.

DeMuth shares her thoughts on the song: “Into My Arms is about breaking away from what holds you back (small town talk, toxic relationships, dead-end jobs) and how liberating that feels. It’s the kind of song you stomp your foot and sing at the top of your lungs to. Whenever I sing it I’m always reminded of summers when I was young and driving around late at night with the windows down. There’s a joy to it that I love and it’s message speaks to the album as a whole. I hope people feel that joy and release when they listen.”  Indeed, there is a joy in the music that sweeps the listener along.  Look out for the new album on 25th September.
