Call the fire brigade, Marcus King is trying to burn down Easy Eye Studios.   The new video from King for ‘Lie, Lie, Lie’ features him performing heavy southern rock live in a power trio format at Dan Aurbach’s Nashville studio.   This is the second video from his forthcoming album ‘Young Blood’.   A blistering guitar solo that combines the psychedelic freakouts of Hendrix, the southern melodies of Allen and Rossington all funnelled through fat Billy Gibbons like tones is the highlight of the piece.  Chris St. Hilaire on drums and Nick Movshon on bass laydown a thunderous foundation for not just King’s fleet-fingered guitar work but his soulful southern vocals as well.

“‘Lie Lie Lie’ for me captures the spirit of this record.” King shared. “You can feel how natural the vibe was in the studio. This track showcases each player’s energy, it shines a light on the production and the SOUND of Easy Eye Sound. At the two-and-a-half-minute mark the band locks into a groove that becomes a sonic representation of why I do what I do! I LIVE for that feeling!

King and his band are currently on a world tour that will take them throughout the UK, Europe, and the U.S. for the rest of 2022.
