Video premiere: Killing Cartisano “Let Me Go”

Killing Cartisano aka Italian songwriter Roberta Cartisano releases her new single ‘Let Me Go’ today which follows hot on the heels of ‘The Drunk Man’ and is a preview to her forthcoming new album, to be released this autumn in the UK. She’s shared the new video exclusively with AUK and told us: “‘Let Me Go’ is a freeing and cathartic scream. I’m driving… fast to the rhythm of pounding drums and breathless arpeggios to find a place to call my own. How far or how close it will be, it doesn’t matter. When making art you have to decide which side of the fence you are on, what is your position?” She went on to say: “The three characters featured in the video are the Dreaming Girl, the Lost Girl and the Confident Boy. Each represents the 3 main phases of life: childhood, adolescence and adulthood. There are no winners or losers, just life, it’s them choosing themselves over the rambling postmodern city at the liberating shout of Let Me Go.
