Video Premiere: Palomino Kings “Any Time At All”

An absorbing melody, excellent guitar work and engaging hooks are features of the brand new single from Palomino Kings.  For the video, the band perform live in the sunshine, which seems fitting for this bright, splash of rocking sound.  There’s a typically gritty energy to ‘Any Time At All’, especially when the guitar solo kicks in towards the end.  The band have made the most of the lockdown to write and record new material.

They explain: “A familiar story I’m sure, but at the beginning of the year Palomino Kings had an exciting and busy summer ahead with festival appearances and gigs booked around the UK, all of which obviously had to be cancelled. However, plans changed and the time off allowed the band to instead focus on writing and demoing as much new material as possible, with a view to hand pick the cream of the crop to take into the studio.

‘Any Time At All’ was the first song to be recorded, produced and released from this batch of new material, it’s a groove heavy guitar based track that still manages to keep in touch with the emotive lyrics, and the band were definitely channelling those Tom Petty influences into this one!  Expect more releases from this lockdown project in the coming months.”

Taking the time to focus on the song-writing has paid off.  This is great stuff and we’re delighted to feature the premiere.  Enjoy.
