Video Premiere: Slow Parade “Ebb & Flow”

Atlanta-based band Slow Parade have an atmospheric new single from their recent well-received second album, ‘Hi-Fi LowLife’.  Slow Parade is a psychedelic country-folk collective, seeking some kind of sonic bliss.  The single, ‘Ebb & Flow’, is a good example of their dreamy, shimmering mix of sounds and floating disconnection.  This live performance video benefits from the support of Ryan Van Fleet (American Aquarium) on percussion and Evan Sarver (Southern Avenue) on Bass.

Matthew Pendrick (guitar, vocals) describes ‘Ebb & Flow’: “The song is about trying to reconnect to a sense of peace in the midst of a trying time.”  That is a sentiment that many of us can relate to right now. Slow Parade push the boundaries of the genre with a cosmic take on Americana, full of reverb and sonic layers.  Check out a great example of psychedelic country.
