Well that’s it from us for this week. If you’re an AUK supporter your new playlist will be with you at 5pm as always, but in the meantime we leave you dear reader with a beautiful new track from the new project from Band of Horses’ Tyler Ramsey who has partnered with Carl Broemel (guitarist with My Morning Jacket) to release their full-length debut Celestun, which is out now. The album’s original objectives had apparently all been instrumental, but the natural flow of sessions led the duo to begin incorporating vocal tracks such as the cinematic Nevermind and this one, which you can hear below, Flying Things, which features additional vocals from GRAMMY Award-nominated siblings The Secret Sisters. It’s a lovely thing to behold.
Following a successful UK tour in November 2024, during which he opened for Lissie at London Union Chapel alongside five further dates including his own headline London show, Tyler Ramsey returns to the UK next month for some dates which you can find here.
