The Wallflowers “Who’s That Man Walking ‘Round My Garden” – Listen

The Wallflowers will release their first new album in nearly a decade ‘Exit Wounds’ next Friday (July 9th) via New West Records, which thankfully finds the band’s signature sound intact. KCRW has stated that “Exit Wounds is a beacon for us all, a tribute to the rough year we’ve made it through.”  Their latest track to be released from it is ‘Who’s That Man Walking ‘Round My Garden’ which wins bonus points for the grammatically correct use of two apostrophes. Frontman Jakob Dylan told Spin: “The garden referenced in ‘Who’s that Man Walking ‘Round My Garden’ isn’t one you’d find in your backyard. The garden is whatever you hold dear and find worthy of protecting. Might be a woman, could be your future, may be your peace of mind. Keep out of mine and I’ll keep out of yours.” Steady Jakob! Jeez.
