Based in Sydney, Australia, The Ramalamas have a twanging sound that references surf rock on this song from their latest, and fifth, album. It’s also their first vinyl release. The album is called ‘Le Cape Noir’ and it finds The Ramalamas playing the soundtrack to an imaginary cult movie from 1968, with the band reveling in the opportunities this long lost (and, we hasten to add, never made) psycho-thrilller/horror/drama offers.
It’s a cool idea, and just to add to the coolness (and the dedication to the theme) it’s being released on October 29th – just in time for Halloween.
