Our new playlist of the best new Americana we’ve heard over the last month is out later today exclusively for AUK supporters including new tracks by Billy Strings, Elizabeth Moen, Neal Casal, Tyler Childers and the Milk Carton Kids among others – we basically dig out the best americana from the last month so you don’t have to. And if you are a supporter, we also have a great exclusive giveaway of two tickets to see Chuck Prophet and Mission Express on one of their upcoming UK dates. The tour is their first since 2017 and will promote their most recent album ‘The Land That Time Forgot’ which came out on Yep Roc in 2020. This, his fourteenth album, comes after beating cancer and getting through the subsequent pandemic. It was produced by Grammy-winning Matt Winegar and recorded in Old Soul Studios in upstate New York after being priced out of his hometown of San Francisco.

Here are the dates:

05/31 – London – The Garage
06/02 – Nottingham – Metronome
06/04 – Oxford – Bullingdon
06/06 – Leeds – Brudenell Social Club
06/07 – Glasgow – St Lukes
06/10 – Newcastle – The Cluny
06/11 – Bury – The Met
06/12 – Birmingham – Hare & Hounds
06/13 – Bristol – The Fleece
06/14 – Southampton – 1865
06/15 – Hassocks – Mid Sussex Music Hall

Tickets to the show if you’re not our lucky winner can be bought on the artist’s website. While the limited edition vinyl has sold out, the standard LP, CD, and streamed songs can all be purchased via your favourite music shop and Prophet’s bandcamp.

You can become an AUK supporter for just £2 a month here. Thanks in advance if you are able to support us.
