Ethereal and grounded sounds intertwine as Wila Frank sings about ‘Light of the Moon’. This is the first single from her new ‘Agua Verde’ E.P. Recorded in a single afternoon at afternoon at Nashville’s state of the art Blackbird Studios, the E.P. features Royal Masat on bass, Mark Radabaugh on drums, and Hannah Delynn on harmony vocals. String arrangements were provided by Lucas Henri.
The song begins with a floating feeling that evokes twilight and then is propelled by a finger picked acoustic guitar as Frank’s voice quietly delivers the lyrics. The other players support her performance, tastefully accompanying her vocal without ever drawing attention away from the intimate singing.
‘Agua Verde’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
