Well that’s it from us for another week dear reader. If you’re an AUK supporter, your playlist (including our exclusive best of 2024 playlist) should be in your email box around 5pm. In the meantime, batten down your hatches if you’re anywhere near the storm and have a listen to this new song by Ruston Kelly, a cover of Morgan Wallen’s ‘Sand in My Boots’, a classic tale of heartbreak in true country style:

“Yeah, but now I’m dodging potholes in my sunburnt Silverado
Like a heart broke Desperado, headin’ right back to my roots
Somethin’ ’bout the way she kissed me tells me she’d love Eastern Tennessee
Yeah, but all I brought back with me was some sand in my boots”

Although it probably doesn’t quite nail just how irritating it is getting sand in your shoes. Please do support your local Palestine action if you can over the weekend. See you on Monday for the first of our end of year pieces, it begins! Take care and have a good one.
