It’s not often we celebrate one of our own, but this week, news editor and all round good fella Keith Hargreaves, will start a news-based weekly show for the Americana Music station Black Deer Radio. The show will feature music based on current news stories, including album releases, upcoming gigs, tour and new album release dates, as well as having a weekly interview with a mover and shaker in the Americana world.
Opening interview is with artist and musician Jack Browning but future guests will include the likes of Oliver Gray talking about his book “Austin Healing” and shows he is promoting, Loose head honcho Tom Bridgewater on all things record label related as well as the Loose stage at The Long Road, Hannah White on her new album, Kieron Marshall on Folk in the Park, Danny Wilson on The Champs and more, plus Robin Bennett on the new Dreaming Spires album and many more.
Keith says, “It’ll be a blast presenting this show. Hopefully, we will be able to highlight everything from the grassroots gigs up to the major tours and everything in between. I’m looking for people to get in touch and promote their gigs and their albums, and the interviews should be tremendous fun!”
