The Proclaimers have announced a series of 2026 live dates across the UK, beginning with a series of theatre shows in June and July before embarking on an extensive UK Tour throughout October and November.
Craig & Charlie Reid’s first UK dates since their 2022 – 2023 Dentures Out tour – which saw the pair play 96 shows to a total audience of over 500,000 people – will accompany The Proclaimers’ as-yet-untitled 13th studio album, set for release in the Spring of 2026. You can see a video of a performance from this tour below.
With a legacy spanning over three decades, along with inspiring the hit musical and film “Sunshine On Leith”, The Proclaimers’ live shows are celebrated for their energy, passion, and big-hearted songs. The brothers will perform all their classic hits, including ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’, ‘Letter from America’ and ‘Sunshine on Leith’, alongside tracks from their forthcoming album.

The Reid twins broke through aged 25 with their 1987 debut album “This Is The Story” and hit single ‘Letter from America’, and since then their enduring appeal across generations has seen them enjoy continued success. Coldplay’s Chris Martin said of the band: “There is a whole other world of music behind that song that I’ve just been discovering, and they’re a wonderful, wonderful band. Now we live in the age of coolness that doesn’t mean anything; it’s just quality and soul. The Proclaimers make more sense than ever.”
The Proclaimers have carved out a niche for themselves in the zone of the Venn diagram where pop, folk, new wave, and punk collide. In the process, they have enjoyed gold and platinum singles and albums in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Their songs feature at weddings, funerals and everything in-between, and there is one song, an early celebration of falling head over heels in love that is known the world over.
