The Twang Factor 4 Presents: Hannah Crossrose

The final entrant in Twang Factor 4 is Hannah Crossrose, an alt-country singer-songwriter from Australia.

Melbourne-born alt-country singer-songwriter Hannah Crossrose has been crafting heartfelt, intimate and bewitching songs on windswept Bunurong coastlines since the age of 13. With her soaring, ethereal voice and grounded, haunting poetic storytelling, she offers a soft landing for sensitive souls — creating music that feels both timeless and resonant.

Her oceanic siren single, ‘Fading Light’, was produced by Josh Potter of Umbrella Studios. The song lingers in the fragile space between heartbreak and renewal. A twilight moment of being lost in the fading light, questioning what was real, yet finding the clarity and strength to leave what was harmful. It’s a spellbound reflection on releasing and carrying the listener back to the waves as a place to surrender, reclaim power, and rise again as one’s own light.

After the release of her debut album “The Woman in the Mirror”, Crossrose took to the UK music scene and played shows in London, Liverpool and stopped over in Dublin to play a show at the esteemed “Ruby Sessions”. The album was on high rotation across many community and international radio stations, having been featured on Triple J, ABC Country, Coast FM, Southern FM, and Australian Country Radio, as well as her music videos having been featured on both CMT and MTV Australia. Her music video for her single ‘Magic Woman’ received an honourable mention award from the Berlin Music Video Awards in 2024.
