The tragic deaths of Tucker Zimmerman and Marie-Claire, his wife of almost 60 years, in a house fire at their home near Liege, Belgium, earlier this year, occurred not long after Zimmerman’s music had been brought back to the attention of the world via the enthusiasm of Adrianne Lenker and the support of the team at Big Potato Records. At the time of his death, Zimmerman had just completed what is now his final studio album, Dream Me A Dream, which will be released by Big Potato on 19th June 2026. The record was a collaboration with Nick Holton.
In October 2025, Zimmerman had written of the album’s genesis: “ …The Little Prince by way of the pen of Antoine de Saint Exupéry said ‘Draw me a sheep’ and I said to the Little Prince ‘Dream me a dream’ overheard by Nick [Holton] who said ‘Record me a song’ so I recorded a song and then one or two more and just like that whip crack away and snap dragon fingers we had an album and just like that pump up the jambalaya and kick the chandelier Nick’s got the tracks mixed and mastered and pressed into 12” discs that say hallelujah and great balls of fire on the cover and that’s all I’m going to say about the outer wheels of this wagon as it rolls into your life the inner clockworks too intricate and deep to make language suffer so if you want more go to the Little Prince ask him to draw you a Dream of Now and Memory…”
Recorded in Belgium and England at Songline & Oaki Room, the album features Zimmerman (vocals, 12-string guitar, piano), Jackie Oates (vocals, violin, organ, piano), Holton (synthesisers, moog, organ, piano, bass, glockenspiel, percussion), Marie-Claire Zimmerman (vocals) and Roger Proctor contributing violin on one track.

The first single from Dream Me A Dream is Sun In Scorpio, a deliberately delicate slow opener, creating beautiful spaces for gently plucked synths and melodic bursts – like Virginia Astley or Harmonia.
