Something for the weekend: Brown Horse “Wreck”

Well that’s it from us for this week and we leave you dear reader with a new song from British slacker twang quartet Brown Horse, the third and final single from their upcoming album Total Dive which comes out on 10th April on Loose Music. A bonfire of anthemic country-rock, with world-weary electric guitars and glistening pedal steel howling through the verses like wind over the flatlands of East Anglia, Wreck is described as an “ill-fated drive among the abandoned gas stations and otherworldly byways of rural Norfolk.” The place where I got stopped by the police last year incidentally for going about a centimetre over the white line in the middle of the road. On getting back into the car my son’s suggestion was “why didn’t you ask him on a date?”

Take care, don’t forget Palestine and keep fighting those fascists. See you next week.
