For this week’s retro slot we have a brilliant “before they were famous” performance from the last 1970s.  Footage quality isn’t great but this is a gem.

Now this is a fine coming together of a great band name, a great song and a great video.  Apparently classed as blues, which seems a bit limiting, it’s just fabulous.

The title track of the latest EP from Margo Price is the sort of song to give country music a good name.  Great performance too.

The legend that is Ray Wylie Hubbard with a live performance of a song from his latest album, Tell The Devil I’m Gettin’ There As Fast As I Can.
