Hear Lucinda Williams’ first track from her new album

Lucinda Williams has got a new album out called ‘Good Souls Better Angels’ on April 24th via Highway 20/Thirty Tigers, the follow-up to 2017’s ‘This Sweet Old World’ (which was a rerecorded version of Williams’ 1992 album ‘Sweet Old World’), and she’s just released the first track from it – ‘Man Without a Soul’. From the evidence of the lyrics (exhibit one: “You bring nothing good to this world, beyond a web of cheating and stealing/you hide behind your wall of lies, but it’s coming down/yeah, it’s coming down”) President Trump probably isn’t going to be pre-ordering it. You can hear the track via Rolling Stone below.
