AUK celebrates with an event in Liverpool city centre on Saturday November 28th.
Well, unbelievably, it was a quarter of a century ago that Americana UK first came into existence as a one-man operation run from a little room in Liverpool, a time when the American political scientist Francis Fukuyama (hilariously as it turns out) thought we were at the end of history – if only Francis! And so having been foiled in 2021 for our 20 year celebrations by everyone’s favourite virus, we felt like we couldn’t let the next milestone anniversary go by without a shindig to celebrate the event.
We’ll be ready to announce full details soon which includes some of the best homegrown americana along with some very special artists from the USA over two stages here in AUK’s hometown of Liverpool but for now, please save the date in your diary – Saturday November 28th 2026. Watch this space!
