Something for the weekend: The Burrito Brothers “Christmas Moon”

Well that’s it from us for another week dearest reader and if you’re not already sick of the Christmas mush rush (we promise to not overdose you), we’re leaving you until Monday with a track from the new album from The Burrito Brothers ‘Christmas’ which is out now through The Store For Music –  Ever since two Byrds left the “Sweetheart of the Rodeo” mothership over 50 years ago, The Burrito Brothers have been evolving and putting out albums, and the musicians in today’s group, Chris P James, Tony Paoletta, Peter Young and Steve Allen, have performed and recorded numerous notable previous works of their own and with a number of other artists. As the press release attests, esentially this current lineup of Burritos has been carrying the ball, Gram’s baby, for more than a decade now. It beats New Kids on the Block’s ‘Funky, Funky, Xmas’ anyway. Have a good one.
