‘Blue Red and Green’ is the new single from North East band The Attention Seekers who we covered last year here on AUK in rather glowing terms, produced by Alan Fish, engineered by Tony Davis, and recorded at Cluny Studios Newcastle upon Tyne. On this cracking new track songwriter Alan Fish has enlisted the services of Sam Blewitt on lead vocals. The more astute of you will be aware that Blewitt took over from Midge Ure in Ultravox, and more recently has been touring with Kenney Jones’s ‘all-star’ band ‘The Jones Gang’. The song also features Trevor Brewis on drums, Pete Tanton on trumpet and Fish himself on guitars, bass and backing vocals.
‘Blue Red and Green’ is the first of three releases planned for this year. The song will be available for download/stream July 1st 2023. In the meantime, this earworm will be probably be looping around your head at 3 in the morning this week. Apologies in advance but the clue is in the band name.
