Impressive Boston based songwriter is a clear hit with AUK readers.
After yesterday’s announcement of Ian David Green as our third placed act, we move on the the runner-up spot. Rachel Sumner was something of a last-minute entry to the Twang Factor, but as soon as we saw the video that she sent us, we knew that we had to find a place for her. We are therefore delighted that AUK readers have validated our judgment by voting for her into the runner-up position. Rachel gave us this reaction:
“Wow, this is amazing news!! It was truly an honor to be included in this competition with so many wonderful songwriters. I am humbled by the positive feedback your readers have given me and I hope to get out to play shows in the UK very soon!”
