Bristol based folktronica duo Firewoodisland are Stian Vedøy, who hails from Norway, and Abi Eleri who is Welsh. Together the duo make a modern folk sound – leaning towards the poppier end of that genre. It’s a music they describe as “Mountain-Pop”, in which the duo combine vibrant catchy melodic pop with organic folk instrumentation, glitching electronics and dreamy atmospherics.

‘Looking For Love‘ is taken from the duo’s new album which they are planning to preview throughout 2023 as monthly singles. The new album’s songs see the band talk about their life stories, their struggles, their challenges and their hopes and dreams.
