Montreal’s Little Misty returns with another gorgeous video from the Treehouse Collective. Tommy Gaultier’s fiddle soars over this tight-knit unit as they perform ‘Alma’. The tale of a young girl running through life with Kathryn Samman delivering a heartfelt vocal. Much like the previous video filmed at The Treehouse Collective in Quebec, the video and audio recording are masterful and flawless. The song builds from a simmer to a boil as François Jalbert launches into a frenetic guitar solo to bring the song to a close. Kudos to engineers Charles-Émile Beaudin, Pierre Girard, and Marc Thériault for capturing such an intimate performance with clarity and warmth.
Little Misty will be touring throughout Canada with several dates scheduled for the coming months.
