Last seen on these shores back in 2019,the energetic ensemble that is Curtis Eller’s American Circus return to the fray with a set of dates in late June/early July including a slot at Maverick Festival. Eller, once described as “New York’s angriest yodelling banjo player” will front a trimmed down four piece band playing their unique brand of vaudeville styled rock and roll and bluegrass delivered with a theatrical physicality.
AUK said of Eller’s last album, “This is wild stuff, the sort of thing you would stumble upon in a tent in a back field at Glastonbury, populated by outsiders making music for themselves and somehow inviting you into their glorious hedonism.” If you fancy some “glorious hedonism” you can catch them at the following dates.
