7 Hills heads to the Old Town Great Hall, Trowbridge this March for one day festival

The 7 Hills Spring Festival will take place as the inaugural event for the Trowbridge Old Town Hall’s Great Hall on the 21st March, following an extensive and transformative refurbishment. The historic Old Town Hall will open its doors to host the festival, marking a significant new chapter in the cultural life of the region. Conceived as a celebration of world-class songwriting and contemporary creative excellence, the festival brings together a great line-up of internationally acclaimed artists alongside emerging voices, all set within the newly revitalised venue.

Headlining the evening are The Delines, widely regarded as one of the most evocative and accomplished bands of their generation. Renowned for their cinematic soul, lush arrangements and profoundly humane storytelling, The Delines have been praised by critics as “one of the finest Americana acts working today,” with performances described as “exquisite, elegant and utterly transportive.” Their appearance at the 7 Hills Spring Festival kicks off a tour of the UK for the band, consistently hailed among the very best songwriters and performers on either side of the Atlantic.

They are joined by Our Man in the Field, whose transatlantic Americana and increasingly celebrated live performances have entertained audiences across Europe; the distinguished American singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur, known for his poetry; multiple AMA UK Award winner Hannah White, recognised as one of Britain’s most profound contemporary songwriters; Matt Owens & The DVP, delivering a dynamic blend of modern folk and rock with richly crafted lyricism; and Courting Ghosts, whose growing reputation signals a new voice within the UK Americana scene.

The festival’s excellent and expansive programme continues with performances from Concrete Prairie, blending folk and Americana with a distinctive edge; Fly Yeti Fly, offering beautiful folk; Aqaba, showcasing their original indie sounds, songwriter Leander Morales; Thieves, combining musicianship, rich harmonies and humour; Bluebeard and the Desperate Hours, Dave Turner’s anthemic pop-rock project known for its irresistible hooks and lyrical warmth; Chris Greenhalgh, Bath-based singer-songwriter and Biff Country, bringing their Nashville-inspired sound to the heart of Trowbridge.
