Don Gallardo announces summer UK dates

Don Gallardo, whose last album we described last year as “richly layered music on the country-rock side of Americana” has announced a string of summer UK tour dates including Suffolk’s Maverick Festival, shows including London, Bristol and Birmingham, and culminating in a performance at Tingestock Festival (full tour dates below).

Don is set to release new EP ‘In The Name of Good Intentions’ on July 5th in the UK / EU; featuring British/Nashville songstress Lilly Linwood on vocals. Gallardo has called Nashville home for over 11 years now.  He has his heart in the East Nashville sound and scene, but his California roots are never far away, weaving as he does his 1970’s Laurel Canyon influences into modern roots-Americana, while mixing southern and western sounds comfortably. He has previously released 5 full-length albums, an EP, a live In-studio acoustic album, and a live album; which have featured Nashville legendary musicians who have played with or currently play with artists such as Johnny Cash, Sturgill Simpson, Emmylou Harris and Willie Nelson.
