Video: Fanny Lumsden “Fierce”

Fanny Lumsden’s ‘Fierce’ is a tribute to all the women who have played an important role in her life.  Old footage of women in the World War II Land Army is also used to good effect to draw attention to women’s issues throughout history.  Indeed, a modern-day Land Army also features: a community of women helping to rebuild after the terrible fires in Lumsden’s home state of New South Wales.  The song, a powerful statement, is taken from her third album, ‘Fallow’, which is out now.
