Sweetbreads are a Brooklyn based band led by Melody Stolpp in collaboration with fellow musician Nick Watt with a rotating cast of support musicians. The line-up at present is completed by Owen Liza Winter on drums and David Halpern on bass.. Sweetbreads’ aim is to make “country western pop music that will bend your ear, twist your pretty little heart, and get your hips swaying.” ‘Wanderer‘, the band’s latest single, is a torch song to a cowboy off following his wandering star. It’s taken from Sweetbreads’ upcoming debut EP and features vocals you won’t quickly forget.
