With the autumn approaching in the distance, music fans will be aware that one of its highlights is AMERICANAFEST which brings together showcasing artists, industry leaders and music fans across a wide range of venues in Nashville from 15th to 19th September 2026. In addition to the showcases, special events during the day allow agencies, labels and other industry entities to highlight their roster. There is also a three-day educational conference with networking opportunities, and topical panels
On the festival’s eve, the annual Americana Honours & Awards ceremony is held at Ryman Auditorium recognising groundbreaking figures of americana music and celebrates the music achievements of the past year. AMERICANAFEST serves as a fundraiser supporting the initiatives of the Americana Music Association and its Foundation.

Although primarily from North America, acts come from all over the world including several from the UK. Many of the artists are infrequent visitors to the east of the Atlantic, so AMERICANAFEST provides an opportunity for fans from Europe, the UK and further afield to enjoy their performances over several days. Regular visitors are also familiar with RSVP showcases available to wristband holders as well as the opportunity to catch regular events either side of AMERICANAFEST.
