Acclaimed Canadian songwriters Steph Cameron and Abigail Lapell have announced a joint UK tour for 2025, marking Cameron’s first UK shows in five years, and Lapell’s debut performances in the UK. The tour kicks off in Birmingham on Sunday, May 11, 2025, and finishes with a performance at London’s Jazz Café on Wednesday, May 14, before continuing to Holland and Belgium. Along with the tour announcement, Cameron has shared her first new music in seven years with the single, ‘Today’  which is out now via Neon Moon.  Fans attending the tour can look forward to hearing new material from the forthcoming album “Blood Moon” set for release in early 2025, alongside tracks from her catalogue, including songs from her ace debut album “Sad-Eyed Lonesome Lady”, which celebrates its 10th anniversary next year. How time flies!

Accompanying Cameron across the pond will be Abigail Lapell, a three-time Canadian Folk Music Award winner and prolific songwriter, who will showcase music from across her critically acclaimed and pithily titled albums – 2022’s “Stolen Time”, 2023’s “Lullabies”, and 2024’s “Anniversary”. The most recent album was co-produced with Great Lake Swimmers’ frontman Tony Dekker and released in May 2024 and very favourably reviewed in these very pages here
