Another great song from Passenger’s superb new album Runaway, accompanied by a video filmed on a three week road trip across the United States.

For this week’s retro slot we go back a couple of decades for a great live performance from one of the key Americana bands and genre pioneers, Jay Farrar’s Son Volt.  Have a good weekend everyone.

The new single from Liverpool band Red Rum Club is a bit epic, a proper rocker with hooks galore, a hint of spaghetti westerns and an anthemic chorus.  Their album Matador is out on 11 January.

From his second album Pink Mirror, this is the new single from UK man Jeremy Tuplin.  It’s ridiculously catchy, has great lyrics and a fun video to accompany it.  Which will do nicely.
