Chuck Prophet and Stephanie Finch tour UK in September.

Everyone’s favourite guitar god returns to the UK this September with Stephanie Finch – keyboard maestro of the Mission Express, star of the album ‘Stephanie Finch and the Company Men‘ and…married to Chuck Prophet.  It’s described as an acoustic tour – what that actually means we’re not sure.  New arrangements of old songs ?  New songs given an outing ?  Old favourites covered ? A rousing attempt to lead group singing on ‘kumbeya‘?  Could be any of those.  Or a blend.  Or something else.  Who cares – it’s Chuck Prophet, so it’ll be cool. The tour takes in regular haunts along the way – like Bush Hall in London – and the support on tour for the majority of the dates will be Jesse Malin.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
