Buoyed by the fantastic reception for her latest album, Some Seek Silver, Some Seek Gold, North Yorkshire songwriter Elaine Palmer has announced a series of shows for the Autumn months. Released in April, the album received effusive reviews across the board, including 9-out-of-10 from us here at AUK Towers. This Spring also saw Elaine play her first ever Italian dates as special guest of Italian Americana legends Satellite Inn, playing in support of their hotly received From Nowhere Revisited album. Forming a mutual appreciation society, the band backed Elaine for several songs and will be co-headlining on the November dates on this tour, including a London show at What’s Cookin’ on 18th November. Elaine will then play Americana UK’s 25th Anniversary event in Liverpool on 28th November.
“I’m absolutely thrilled with the way Some Seek Silver… has been received,” says Elaine. “It’s been such an amazing year for me. I’ve been busy out on the road, playing shows and connecting with audiences across the UK, USA, and Italy. I’m so grateful for all the support the album has received, and there’s already so much excitement building for what’s to come, some great projects planned for next year, and I can’t wait to share them.”
