Rome-born but London-based singer-songwriter Emma Tricca is celebrating the release of her latest album “Prisms Of Winter” with a series of dates in the UK and Ireland early 2026. “Prisms Of Winter” involved reimagining earlier songs with which Tricca had a particularly strong emotional connection. She says, “I was putting together various demos for a Bandcamp release, but then I felt the urge to rework these songs as I play them now. So, I went to see my friend Simon Alpin at his studio in Shoreditch, and we spent a few hours chatting about life and laying these tracks down – complete with the noise of sirens and people partying on the streets and in the bars of East London.”
The artist’s biography sets the scene: “In life and music, Emma Tricca is an explorer. Just as Davey Graham set sail for Morocco and Vashti Bunyan for the Outer Hebrides in search of their elusive muse, Rome-raised singer-songwriter Tricca has journeyed to London, New York, Texas and further afield to seek the heart of her own music.”
“Prisms Of Winter” is available in digital and CD form and can be found here. You can see the specially recorded video for ‘November At My Door’ below.
